I am looking for commercial sources of tactile sensors. Lord Corporation used to manufacture a parallel-jaw gripper that had a 10x16 matrix of tactile sensors on the surface of each finger. The Australian agent for Lord, got word to me that this devices is no longer in the product line. Could any kind soul tell me the sources they know of for, tactile sensing pads -- zero or minimal interfacing, complete tactile sensing grippers -- with a high level interface that will generate ascii-string commands to our AdeptOne robot.
