At a recent thesis defense, one of the examiners mentioned that the ISO is developing standards for rating manipulators for end-effector tracking accuracy. This was the first I'd heard of it. Since my defense is soon and the same prof is on the board, I'd like at least to be informed. Does anyone know anything about it? Is it for real? What are the standards addressing? Thanks.... I have not heard of any such standards, but if you do find out anything please post the response. Thanks, Cliff -- A society is not civilized until it domesticates the icecube.
