[comp.robotics] Looking for infrared sensors

ktc@aplcomm.jhuapl.edu (Constantikes Kim F1F x4215 ) (12/20/90)

I'm looking for a source of SIMPLE infrared sensors with signal processing
electronics included. The application is implementation of Braitenberg
machines, so simple means room temp, no choppers, small, low power. Please
reply to ktc@onan.jhuapl.edu. Thanks

Try Visilux, Inc. at (815) 744-2705 (Illinois). I just requested their
catalog. They make all kinds of electronic sensors and associated
electronics. Our robots use their inductive sensors in their homing
brackets and I'm considering using their infrared sensors in our grippers.
The ones I've seen meet your criteria.
