For those of you interested in Model Railroading you might want to check
out the NMRA (National Model Railroad Ass.). They have made the standards
that all (well almost all) the manufactures use. The regional and divisional
events are good places to meet others that share the same interests and to
get questions answered. These are usually open to the public and if there
is a fee it is uaually a dollar or two.

If you live in the San Francisco bay area there will be a Coast division
meet on March 4th at Riodan High School in San Francisco( almost next door
to SF City College it is just at the end of the block on Phelen). It
starts at 10:00AM and goes until about 4:00PM. There will be a couple of
clinics a aution and model and photo contests. There will also be a lot of
people who can answer your questions.
