We have an application in mind which will require developing a
navigation/hazard avoidance sensor system for an experimental mobile
robot platform.  I am interested in gathering information regarding
potential sources and/or specifications of commercially available
laser radar systems.  In particular, I would like to compile a survey
of laser radar state of the art in terms of:

	- Range Accuracy
	- Standoff
	- Ambiguity Interval
	- X-Y (Angular) Resolution
	- Field of View
	- Acquistion (Frame) Rate
	- Range Resolution (8 vs. 12 bits)
	- Cost

We have developed prototype laser radar systems in-house which have
been targeted for high performance applications.  I would like to
become current on other available sources for performance vs. cost
comparison purposes.  Any information would be appreciated.
