I have an AdpetOne robot here that I would like to communicate with using the DDCMP protocol. The robot controller has DDCMP built in as part of the VAL-II language, so I am looking for a PD implementation of the DDCMP protocol that I can compile and run on the SPARC workstation (SUN-OS 4.0.3) Can anyone point me in the direction of the source code for a DDCMP implementation? Preferably in C Thanks in advance, Simon Hill, Robotics and Digital Technology, Monash University, P.O Box 197, Caulfield East, VIC 3145 AUSTRALIA Phone: 61-3-573-2092 Fax: 61-3-573-2745 INET: sdh@monu6.cc.monash.edu.au

Preferably in C I can get you C source for DDCMP implementation on a Sun 3/160 which is talking to an Adept controller. We also have implementations (which we've dropped due to their overhead) for communication between a Karel controller and a VME based system running VxWorks. There's probably other specific implementations around here as well; we've got quite a few laboratories/projects here. If there's enough interest I suppose I could post them; I wait to see the interest. Cliff -- A society is not civilized until it domesticates the icecube.
