Hello all, Regarding my ordering of sonar modules and transducers: I will be ordering 20 sets of driver boards plus transducers and a few transducers for those who have requested them. Due to a low credit limit on my VISA card :-( I will be ordering two batches of ten sets each, plus extra transducers. When I find out what the cost will be for shipping I will inform you via email. Tech info: The driver boards are almost identical to the TI boards which are no longer available. These are not the same as the old Polaroid sonar boards. They are TTL/CMOS compatible. Signals are INIT,ECHO,BLNK,BINH, and OSC. Power is 4.8 - 7V @ 100 mA standby and 2 A (max!) during transmit (0.32 usec). Transducer frequency is 50 kHz and maximum range is 35 feet. Prices: sonar module #615077 $23.50 instrument grade transducer $16.00 shipping to be determined. Preferred method of payment is for you to send me a check or money order and I will send the goods. If COD is needed, let me know. If more people are interested, I could be persuaded to order some more units on a continuing basis. As the situation stands, I am not making money on this unless you want to get generous and donate a few bucks to offset my time+efforts. I will let all of those who have placed an order know via email when the parts are in. Let me know if there are any questions, and please let me know as quickly as possible if there are more orders. I still have 4 or 5 of my own. Thanks, tho. BTW, if you are interested in a PC interface project, I have one I built last year. Seems to work ok! email lamb@udel.edu
