[comp.robotics] Stepper motor controller.

tedpan@techbook.com (Teddy Panarto) (03/29/91)

I need a good stepper motor controller (i.e. a dedicated chip that understands
ASCII command, programmable acceleration slope, speed, etc.)
I need just the part #, name, and phone # of the company.

Also, does anybody know the phone number of Sprague, Inc. and
Cybernetic Micro Systems?

Please e-mail me.
Thank you.

Try Integrated Micro Systems (IMS), they have exactly this kind of thing as
well as evaluation boards (the chip and support circuits and drive
transistors for small steppers all in one). They have a bunch of different
options, so give them a call at (800) 528-9185 to get literature and figure
out which one you want.
