[comp.robotics] Video Link Info Still Wanted

schultz@ai.mew.mei.co.jp (Bob Schultz) (05/16/91)

Well great, I've learned everything there is to know about optical sensors.
Maybe we'll scrap the video camera idea and use our mobile platform to flip
CD's instead!

Seriously, I'm still looking for information on getting a NTSC color video
signal off a mobile platform; the system must be lightweight, consume
little [battery] power, operate in maybe the 400 MHz or 1 GHz bands, have a
100 meter range, and be of reasonably low cost.

If you have any information on techniques or companies producing such
equipment, please e-mail me. I've received lots of e-mail from people also
interested in this topic; I'll post a summary to comp.robotics later.

Thanks!
