Okay, I think I'm making headway with the sysop of our local Mac User Group BBS that yes, you can effectively use that $1500 CD-ROM the club bought to provide mega fun for MUG downloaders. Now, he's saying that it's impossible because how are you gonna provide a listing of available files on the CD-ROM so the users know what's on it to download?? Please, could any sysops who are using a CD-ROM on their BBSs comment on the techniques you use to manage the CD-ROM filenames. We are currently using Red Ryder Host. Thanks for your help. P.S. Unfortunately, I do not have access to the docs for RRH so please no RTFMs. Our sysop probably read the bare minimum to get it up and running...no, correct that, the old sysop who gave up the job, installed it and head out to sea :-).
