On my recent visit to Toronto I rode in their new streetcars. These were designed in Switzerland by BBC and built under licence in Canada. They are single unit cars, and still use a trolley pole. There are still many PCC's operating in t Toronto. The PCC's are much quieter than the new cars! Herman Silbiger houxb!hrs
