The default setup characters for NCSA Telnet 2.3.2 are ^C ^S ^Q. For correct Emacs operation, they need to be zapped. When I open a new window (as opposed to using one pre-opened in a Set) I have to manually zap these chars. Is there a Better Way? NB: I only have 2.2 docs - anyone prepared to send me the changes? I don't have access to FTP. Thanks! Got this info from Jennie File at NCSA a while ago: >This procedure was mistakenly left out of the documentation. Add an entry >to the config.tel file using the following format: > > localkeys={3,19,17} This entry sets the interrupt, suspend and > resume keys respectively. To set off any or > all the keys, set the value of that key to '0'. > > localkeys=off This entry can be also used to unset all keys. Good luck, pr -- Pete Resnick (...so what is a mojo, and why would one be rising?)
