[comp.sys.mac.comm] MacTCP with SCSI based Ethernet connection?

sbchanin@wheaties.ai.mit.edu (Steve Chanin) (08/14/90)

I have a SE/30 connected to our lab's ethernet using a NuvoLink SC (an
ethernet connecter that plugs into the SCSI port rather than into the
internal slot). I can't seem to get MacTCP to work with this setup
and I was wondering if anyone out there had used MacTCP with a SCSI
based ethernet connection. By the way, I'm running system 6.0.5 and
Finder 6.1.5. The hardware works fine with the version on NCSA Telnet
2.3 which does its own TCP/IP protocol management, but I'd like to be
able to run the BYU enhancements.

Thanks,
Steve

You must use MacTCP 1.0.1 to work with SCSI Ethernet connections.
