Re: Netnews reader (rn) from mac... Boy, that was fast! Here are the three answers. Thanks to those who responded! 1. Intercon Systems Corp., (703) 450-7117. Highly praised by three. Newsreader is (unfortunately!) bundled only with full TCP/ConnectII package for $495, which includes pop mail, telnet, tek emulation file transfer, etc. (unfortunate because in my case we have that all already: gatorbox, gatormail-Q and quickmail, which we love). 2. APDA (800) 282-2732. Part of Hypercard MacTCP Toolkit V1.0. ALthough it's bundled, bundle price is $20 (can't beat that). But you can't buy it unless you're a member of APDA, which means you have to commit to sell your product on a mac. :( (APDA will sell full products, "class 1", to anyone, but this is "class 2", which is something like beta.) 3. MEWS, on info-mac: COMM/MEWS-132-PART1.HQX and part2, too. (Free? shareware? don't know...i've just requested it from listserv... will see.) -Drew Wade drew@cup.portal.com drew@objy.com

You can get the toolkit from apple.com. It's in the directory ~ftp/pub/dts/mac/stacks. Saves you $20 distribution charge. :-) --Brian Bechtel blob@apple.com "My opinion, not Apple's"
