Does anyone out there have experience with MACLAN Connect from Miramar Systems? It runs a AppleShare server on a PC/AT/386 and, supposedly, can be used to bridge the AppleTalk network to nets that don't support the Mac -- like MircoSoft's LANManager or Ungerman-Bass. I am *very* interested in hearing of its success, problems, etc. especially how it handles client-server data bases (like ORACLE or MicroSoft's SYBASE clone) and file sharing with non-client server architectures like FoxBASE. -- Thad Humphries at The Black Cat's Shack (Fidonet 1:109/401) Internet: Thad.Humphries@f421.n109.z1.fidonet.org UUCP: ...!uunet!blkcat!421!Thad.Humphries
