[comp.sys.mac.comm] Binhex formatting information

carl@doctor.Tymnet.COM (Carl Baltrunas) (10/02/90)

I'm looking for information, specifications or source code for processing
binhex files. I`ve received a few binhex'ed files that have most lines
with 64 bytes followed by a newline/return, but one or more lines have more
than 64 bytes to a line. I'd like to know if these bytes are ignored, or
processed.

These files have been processed by binhex 4.0 without any errors, but I
am concerned that they may be corrupted.
