[comp.sys.mac.comm] Direct connection between Macs

Hello,

I want to be able to connect two Macs by a cable through the
serial ports and use a communications program (vPro or Microphone)
to do file transfer.

Is this possible? What kind of a cable do I need and where can I get
it from?
