We have a Mac IIx with an EtherNet card, and a LaserWriter II attached to the
LocalTalk port. I need to make the LaserWriter visible to a unix machine
on the EtherNet, without actually installing a dedicated bridge. I have
been told that Apple's AppleTalk-Ethernet Router will do this (installed on
Mac II), but wish for a cheaper solution (it is CDN$400). For example, can
the product Liason do the same thing?
I will summarise any replies and repost them to this group. Thanks,
