[comp.sys.mac.comm] Mac/GNUUCP problems

binky@micor.UUCP (John Mah) (11/15/90)

Everytime I try and call a host computer using Mac/gnuucp, my machine locks up.
Closer examination (with TMON) shows that the machine is endlessly looping in
a ROM routine called _SyncWait.

I am using a Macintosh SE/30, and System 6.0.5. This has happened before using
some other telecom programs. Is this a bug in the serial drivers?

Does anyone else have this problem too?

John,

Mail jim@fpr.com and request the newest version. Due to some comments from
myself and others a fix was made to prevent the problems you are experiencing.
