I'm running the version of macgnuucp labled as 2.6 in the Rice
archive, and labeled 2.1 in the documentation. When I try to call
our mail server here at work (an ISI box running IS68K 4.3BSD UNIX 5.1.5)
sometimes everything works without any problems. But most of the
time, uucp hangs. Here's what I got when I called with no work queued
up on the mac, but work waiting on UNIX:

The modem send and receive lights will flicker for about a minute until
the modem hangs up. The unix log says that the unix side caught
signal 1. Any suggestions? I'm running a mac plus with 2.5 megs of
memory, system 6.0.5.
