Here's my question. I am in one building using a macintosh on appletalk that is connected to an ethernet backbone on which we have several vaxes. This is done via kinetics fastpaths. The other building has an appletalk network and at least some machines run mactcp (i don't know anything else about their network) Our network is connected to theirs (probably via the ethernet backbone) They have a hypercard stack that uses mactcp to access news on a unix machine (a vax running ultrix) I am wondering if there is anyway i can do the same. They say I can't. I don't understand why.
