I need a cable that supports hardware handshaking on a Hayes V Series modem. From Hayes, it's $32. Somehow, this seems a bit too expensive for a cable. If anyone knows of another source, PLEASE email me or post the address, price, and perhaps a phone number for contact. Thanks. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Chris Silverberg INTERNET: macman@wpi.wpi.edu Worcester Polytechnic Institute Main Street USA 508-832-7725 (sysop) America Online: Silverberg WMUG BBS 508-832-5844 (sysop) "Ask me about TeleFinder... Chris, You and I keep running into each other in the strangest places! :) Actually, I don't find the $32 out of line. I've seen modem cables going for more than $40 in some catalogs. The Prometheus modem manufacturer sells hard- ware handshake cables as well, but I don't know their prices. I suspect that a mail order outfit like MacConnection carries such cables as well.
