Hey folks. I have a gatorbox set up to spill out dynamic addresses from 202 - 216. I am running macTcp on my machine and set it up for dynamic addressing from 202-216 (I also telnet 2.4 -MacTCP-). I believe that mactcp goes to the gator to get a dynamic address (when requested from telnet 2.4). My coworker tells me that mactcp actually assigns the ip number then goes out to the gatorbox. So, according to my coworker, mactcp on three different machines assigned to the same gator, could possibly assign the same address to each machine the way I have it configured. Is this true? Please email a response and bring my sanity back together. Thanks for your help. Charles -- !===========================================================================! ! Charles H.
