I have a Mac SE that jams the network as soon as I attach a phonenet to the printer point. To be more accurate, it is jamming a single port on a Farrallon Star Controller. It will jam the port no matter if I boot from HD or a disk and will continue jamming even if I shutdown (but don't power off). A PRAM ZAP did nothing. It is a clean 6.0.7 (off master disks) with a newly initialzed hard disk and NO OTHER SOFTWARE loaded, let alone running. It will cease jamming only if I power the unit down or disconnect it from the net (no duh). Anyone have any bright ideas? Double check the termination on that leg of the network.
