[comp.sys.mac.comm] SNMP Experience in AppleTalk/IP

tom@wcc.oz (Tom Evans) (12/19/90)

What SNMP tools are being used out there to help administer AppleTalk
internets, particularly those connected to IP networks.

What hosts do these tools run on - Unix, Mac, VAX(?), and what level
of information do they support/display?

We have a product that we have announced and are going to ship 1Q91 called
WatchTower that is an SNMP management station. For better information I
will send you a brochure (if you don't already have one). Our products support
SNMP (not fully with MacTCP as you can not get at all of the information
yet.).

Wollongong supports SNMP management station under A/UX, and has a SNMP init
that works with MacTCP (sort of, as stated above there is only so much information
you can get with MacTCP currently).

Umm, I am sure there are others, but these are the ones that I know of off
hand.
