I was wondering if anyone out there knew of an "inetd" type of application/init/cdev/anything for macos which will allow ftp's into the mac, fingers to the mac, etc., without taking up as much memory as something like TCPConnect or NCSA Telnet (not that I have anything against those products, I just want something MUCH simpler). I'd like to start an application on my mac which will give info about the system and allow ftp's (anonymous and secure) and yet take less memory than the fully blown products listed above do.
