I was once told if you were only going to connect two devices onto an Appletalk network, you didn't need to buy phonenet connectors, you could just run the wires straight through. If this is true, what pins do I need to connect together from a TOPS Flashcard(DB-9) to a TOPS Flashbox(DIN-8) to get things to work? Please reply via E-Mail and I will summarize. Thanks, Charles

That is true if you are connecting two Macintoshs together (Both using DIN-8), you can connect the two together using a Mac to Imagewriter II cable. Because you are using tops cards in PC's I would recommend that you use the proper boxes.
