OOPS! Thanks all for the "dynamic IP addressing" problem reports. The BYU version of NCSA Telnet has been updated to version 2.3.4 and is available by anonymous ftp from "bert.byu.edu" or "bert.cs.byu.edu" (128.187.2.20) in the "NCSA_Telnet" directory. The latest sources have are not there yet - soon! Note: The "dynamic IP addressing" problem is fixed in both MPW versions (NCSA & MacTCP) but not fixed yet in the LightSpeed C version (that could be a while). We also plan to make it available on "zaphod.ncsa.uiuc.edu" if possible. VERSION 2.3.4 problems & improvements... 1. Problem & solution reported by David Palmer (16 Dec 1990): Tektronix graphics "x coordinates can be up to 3 pixels off, which means that if you have a line in two segments, the ends don't match up properly. 2. Dynamic IP assignment broken in version 2.3.3. Status: Fixed. Regards, jim loganj@yvax.byu.edu loganj@byuvax.bitnet
