It's true that this system won't boot with the IIsi. With the IIsi you should have received 6.0.7 which includes a disk called the Network Products Installer. That disk will boot on the IIsi and has a script to install the Communications Toolbox. Unfortunately, it asks for a disk called 'Communications 1' even though the disk in the MacTerminal package is called 'Communications Disk 1' on the label and simply 'Communications' on the disk itself. In any event, the Installer accepts this disk regardless of its name, and will install with no disk flip/flopping except for at the beginning and at the end. > I'm now trying to install Communication Tools onto > the hard disk. To install Communication Tools, you should simply use the Finder and drag the tools you want into the Communications Folder that is created inside your System Folder. The installer will not install tools. Sorry for the confusion. This process will be simpler with System 7 because the CTB will be already present. Tools will have to be dragged into the 'Extensions Folder' inside the System folder. Sorry in advance for the confusion again.
