Has anybody had any luck getting the Apple Modem Tool to talk to a Lightspeed 2400LE modem? They just don't communicate AT ALL. The AMT sends it the initialization string, waits, then gives up. The modem never takes the phone off the hook. I suspect the problem is that the modem insists on autobauding, and the AMT is hampering the process somehow, but that's just a guess. I tried changing the initialization string to have <cr>at<cr> (which is what seems to work for autbauding when I'm using a terminal emulator) at the beginning, but no dice. -- Steve Dorner, U of Illinois Computing Services Office Internet: s-dorner@uiuc.edu UUCP: uunet!uiucuxc!uiuc.edu!s-dorner
