The Tech Model Railroad Club of M.I.T. will hold its fall open house on Saturday, Dec 8, from 2:00 to 5:30 pm and from 7:30 to 10:00pm at 18 Vassar St, Cambridge, Mass., 02139, rm 20-E-214. Admission is free. Information--call Tom Paulson at (617) 253-3269, evenings. Directions: By car, as though you were coming over the Harvard Bridge from Boston: Cross Memorial Drive and continue up Mass. Ave. past the main entrance to MIT. Take the first right (Vassar St) and continue till you reach the intersection with Main St (first light). Don't go onto Main St, but turn right just before it, down a driveway between a parking garage and a 3-story wooden building. You can park in the garage (entrance is about 100yds down driveway) then enter the wooden building via the door across from the garage entrance. Follow "To the trains" signs to clubroom. By MBTA: Go to Kendall station, then walk up Main St about 4 blocks until you reach Vassar St, then turn left and proceed as above.

The Tech Model Railroad Club of M.I.T. will hold its Spring Open House on Saturday, April 13, from 2:00 to 5:30pm and from 7:30 to 10:00pm, in room 20-E-214, 18 Vassar St., Cambridge, Mass., 02139. Admission is free. Directions: By MBTA: Take the Red Line to Kendall, then walk up Main St 3 blocks (note excavations for extended subway station). At the 2nd traffic light (intersection with Vassar St) turn left down a driveway; after 50 yards, enter Building 20 through double doors on right. Then follow signs to clubroom. Don't try to use the main entrance on Vassar St; it will be locked. By car: (from Harvard Bridge) Continue up Mass Ave and take the first right after the main entrance to MIT (Vasssar St); go to the first light and turn right down the driveway at the intersection. There will be a parking garage on the left of the driveway, in which you can park. Then enter Building 20 by the double doors across from the garage entrance.
