Here are some rail activities in the St Louis area. Since there may not be that many net members interested in these "local" items, I will make them short and sweet and you can contact me directly for more information: 1. St Louis and Chain of Rocks RR begins its summer season this Sunday (4/14) with free train rides the second Sunday of each month between 1 and 5 PM. 2. American Ass'n of Railroaders is planning an excursion to Decatur to ride the 611. Tentative plans are for a one day trip with chartered bus to Decatur from St Louis and from Moberly to St Louis after the trip. 3. American Ass'n of Railroader will probably do the same thing when the 4501 makes its visit to St Louis (7/30-8/05). Ed Mertes
