HELP!!! I'm trying to download some files from our UNIX computer here to my Macintosh over a phone number using a 2400 baud modem. On the Mac end I'm using White Knight 11.10, and on the UNIX end I'm using ckermit, both of which are set at their default settings (worked now and then with Red Ryder). But the transfer isn't working. WK seems unresponsive to ckermit's transmissions, but it briefly shows the incoming file's name in the transfer report box when I click on the close box to kill the transfer. So, here's my question: What do I have to do to White Knight and/or ckermit (or whatever UNIX-based program I should use to transfer files over a phone line) to get these two to tango? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Please respond only through Internet email, and if there is an interest I'll put up a summary. Christopher A.
