We have a Shiva (ex Kinetics) Fastpath, rom version 4.1; the KSTAR version is 8.0.1. Whenever I use the Fastpath Manager from a Mac SE, trying to reset the Fastpath, the mac bombs, whether I'm using finder or multifinder. The same problem also exists if I use the Fastpath Manager supplied with a previous release of the Fastpath, supplied with K-STAR version 8.0 (this software, on the Mac SE, worked perfectly with the old bridge). The only way to reset the bridge with an SE is to power off the bridge, open the box, and temporarily remove the jumper used to connect the back up battery to the RAMs. Everything works fine when I use a Mac Classic. Did anybody experience this problem ? Is there any way to solve it ?
