In regards to the recent questions about NNTP programs for the Mac: my roomate and I wrote one because we hadn't found anything in our 1: price range and 2: the worked over dial-in, modem lines. The program is called NetFeed and has finished the Beta testing stage and is now ready for distribution. It has some limitations in connecting, but overall is a very capable program. Anyone using the Merit (NSFNet) computer network will have immediate use for NetFeed. It is now being use in three different states (what can I say, it's new!) and more heavily in Michigan. It will be available at sumex within a day or so. Any questions/comments/ flames: send them to wdburns@mtus5 - bitnet or wdburns@mtus5.cts.mtu.edu - InterNet Sorry if this sounds like an advertisment (it is) but I had to throw in my 3 cents' worth Hope this helps! ps - its share/freeware so the price is right! /____________________________________________________________/ /____________________________/ / /William D.
