You can reach a user named Albert Einstein at MCI Mail by sending mail to "AEinstrin@MCIMail.com". If there are two people at MCI Mail with the same last name and the same first inital your mail will be returned to you and MCI Mail will list all the people on it's service that have that account name with unique address numbers. Also each person's city and state, organizational afiliation, etc. CompuServe can be reached at "xxxxx.xxx@CompuServ.com" but what about GEnie, Delphi, etc. Maybe their Internet addresses should be added to the FAQL. -- +-------------------------------+---------------------------------------------+ | Patrick Hoepfner | NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center | | America Online: PatrickH9 | Internet: hoepfner@heasfs.gsfc.nasa.gov | +-------------------------------+---------------------------------------------+

There is no way to reach GEnie from the internet. GEnie mail system only handles mail between accounts on GEnie. There is no provision for external mail addresses. -- Bruce G. Re: sending mail the MCI. You can find addresses of MCI subscribers by using Knowbot Information Service. It will take your mail query and search through a number of white page directories and send you a reply. mail kis@nri.reston.va.us and in the body of the message put the person's name. Later you will get a reply with the results, positive or negative. I have found it useful a number of times. Steve Cisler Apple Library
