I will soon need to have several macintosh workstations access (large) files on an NFS file system. We will have ethernet to the Macs. Performance is an issue, more than cost. Would people let me know what they've used to do this? I know about a Gatorbox; I am concerned that this would be too slow. I've heard about CAP; I need more details. Any other solutions? Is there software I can put on the Macs so they can access the file systems directly? Thanks to everyone who answered my request for information on macintosh access to NFS file systems. I've heard about NFS/Share from InterCon and a similar product from Wollengang. I will be looking into both of those shortly - they seem like the right kind of solutions. Thanks again; I'll try and e-mail acknowledgements later this morning.
