Hi netland. I'd appreciate your help on a problem I'm having with my modem. About a year and a half ago I bought PRODIGY (it iwas a mistake, OK?) and the Hayes 2400bps modem that came with it (the software was free) in the hopes that PRODIGY would have something to offer me. Well, for a month or so I goofed around with it before deciding it wasn't worth the phone bill. Anyway, after that I basically packed up the modem (no need for it) until recently when I found a few BBS numbers that looked like they might have some interesting stuff. Well, I can't dial out. I'm using a Hayes Personal 2400bps modem (the kind that plugs into a wall socket and is external to everything) through the modem port of my Mac SE. I'm trying to use VERSATERM PRO V2 something (I can't remember, it's not the latest version) as my communications system (works great on the VAXen). I've tried all the formats in my documentation already and nothing has worked. Since the modem is entirely self contained I can't even think of a way to see if it's trying to dial or not. As near as I can tell it's not. Has anyone else had problems like this? Anyone know how I might solve it? Thanks for your help. Sunil
