This is a reminder to the railfans of the nets that the Seashore
Trolley Museum is open again for the season. Located in scenic
Kennebunkport, Maine, it is the world's oldest and largest electric
railway museum. The historic collection includes over 200 trolleys,
trolley coaches, buses, and rapid transit cars from all over the
	world.

Improvements to the museum this year include a 1,000-ft. extension
to the main line track, allowing for a ride of almost 1.5 miles. Work
continues on the main station and exhibit area. As of Memorial Day
Weekend, there were fifteen cars in the main shop undergoing restor-
ation, including a Boston Center Entrance car; Wheeling, WV, Curved
	Side; Montreal Observation Car; Eastern Mass. St. Rwy. 4300-class;
Mass. Northeastern St. Rwy. 4100-class; and a Brooklyn Rapid Transit
	Convertible.

Bring your picnic lunch, or if you'd like, have an Electroburger
on board diner #415 of the Chicago, North Shore, and Milwaukee Railroad.
Spend the day, ride as often as you like, and wander through the main
exhibit hall, two car barns, and the restoration shop. Admission is
moderate. Family and group rates are available. Volunteers and member-
	ships are always welcome.

Kennebunkport is a two hour drive north of Boston. Take I-95
north to exit 3 on the Maine Turnpike. Then go north on Rte. 1
about 2 miles and follow the signs.

	     Enjoy!
