We will be heading to Michigan's UP in July, and are planning are trip over to Sault St. Marie, both U.S. and Canada. I have heard there are some interesting train trips in the area. Soo area rail trips: Call Algloma Central RR at the Soo. They have daily rail excursions north into the contry north of the soo in Canada (Algloma country.) (Algoma ??). Leave about 8:30 am. Need reservations. Especially popular in the winter for the scenery.
