Dear all, I have had a rather big question that has gone through my mind in the many years I have used Macs, and that is: "Why can't I remote boot a Macintosh via AppleShare"?? We most have SE's and Mac IIcx's. I have read an article in MacWeek which stated that the next version of AppleShare {3.0 I believe} will allow you to do that only on the new machines. My question is why can't this be done on the machines that already exist?? We have a large amount of money invested in these machines and it is hard to just buy new ones for that the remote boot privaledge. If anyone can post or reply via e-mail {replying e-mail is preferred} regarding why Apple has never given a easy way to remote boot a machine, or if their is a product out their we can plus into our machines to remote boot, I would be appreciate it.
