Can someone please tell me where exactly we pick up the new 2.4 version of NCSA telnet. We had a look on ftp.ncsa.uiud.edu, and couldn't find it! I'm after the MacTCP version. Also, what are the main advantages/disadvantages of NCSA telnet compared with BYU's. John Forrest Dept of Computation UMIST

BYU uses the NCSA Telnet but tacks on an FTP client module so that you don't have to use a major FTP site to receive. At least that is what I understand from Jim Logan who does the programming on the BYU version. Armand BYU
