Wouldn't it be nice if Timbuktu were to support TCP/IP?
Or better yet, support CommToolBox? And at the same time make the rest
of their N&C products work with CTB (Liaison, for example, could be
quite interesting with CTB support).
Wishful thinking?

Well, think about what Farralon is doing in the rest of their product line. They're moving into the PC AppleTalk (or PhoneNet Talk as they call it now) business. Unless they also add a CTB like thingy on DOS I doubt they'd move into using CTB rather than ADSP for Timbuktu. Maybe as part of Timbuktu/Remote though... As far as TCP/IP goes, they've been advertising like crazy for a Mac knowlledgable TCP/IP programmer in the Mercury News and the nets. -- michael -- Michael Peirce -- outpost!peirce@claris.com -- Peirce Software -- Suite 301, 719 Hibiscus Place -- Macintosh Programming -- San Jose, California 95117 -- & Consulting -- (408) 244-6554, AppleLink: PEIRCE
