Any one got MacX to work with System 7.0b4? Any tricks I should know? I installed MacX, and placed the CTB MacTCP tool into the extension folder. MacX loaded, but I got a System error 15 every time I try to open a connection to the UNIX system. Using MacTCP 1.0.1, located in the top level of the System Folder. All other MacTCP applications work fine, but I do not have any other applications that use the CTB. MacX did work ONCE in 7.0b4, but only when I was running it from an AppleShare server that did not provide me with write access. Thanks in advance for your reply, Jason =From the desk of: *=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*= * Jason D. I believe it (1.0.2) fixes some speed problems MacTCP had with MacX, MacTCP 1.0.1 is "offically supported" for everything else. Anybody from Apple out there what to confirm that? ********************************************************************** * Bobby Clark Technical Consultant * * Clemson University The Micro Center * * "My blood runneth orange, but my opinions are all mine" * **********************************************************************
