Flying Carpet ------------- Are you a Macintosh programmer (experienced or just learning)? A new BBS program is currently under development in Perth, Australia. The two major goals are: * To be a replacement for Second Sight - it will convert your existing SS BBS to Flying Carpet automatically. * To be powerful, intuitive and easy to use. For example, some features will be: * Integrated editors for menus, userlist, configuration, message areas and file areas; * Online versions of these editors for remote sysop maintenance; * Console copy/paste, capturing and scrollback; * Tabby support; * Batch transfers (batch list is saved after logoff); * High speed error-correcting modem support (lock serial port, MNP intelligence, handshaking); * System 7 support. This is just a small taste of what is to come, but it needs your support to make it happen.
