Has anyone been able to get the LocalTalk version of Telnet (i.e. the one where a router such as a GatorBox does the actual IP stuff) to work with System 7.0? If so, is there some trick or secret? I am running NCSA Telnet 2.4b10 under System 7.0b4 and using a Gatorbox (Gatorshare 1.6) with no problems. Kevin Hegg, EDS Corp - Center for Machine Intelligence 2001 Commonwealth Blvd., Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105 Phone: (313) 995-0900 Internet: kevinh@cmi.com Applelink: D5990

You have to put copies of MacTCP in the extensions folder and in the sys folder as well. Apparently, the applications look for it in the sys, but 7.0 will not load it from there. If you are running the non-TCP version of Telnet, I can't help you...
