We have a a network of Suns connected via ethernet and a network of Macs connected with Appletalk. What's the easiest (and preferably cheapest) way of sharing a printer between the two networks? I favor using the Columbia Appletalk Package (CAP), available from rutgers.rutgers.edu, which imbues Unix hosts with the ability to speak Appletalk. It is free and requires a gateway that can do the Kinetics Internet Protocol (KIP). We use a FastPath 4. -- Tom Ngo ngo@harvard.harvard.edu 617/495-1768 lab number, leave message
