[comp.sys.mac.comm] Help Getting files with FTP

I am kind of new at using the MAC on the net to get files down and
am having some trouble.  I am using NCSA Telnet v2.4 and logging into
my local node then doing anonymous ftp's into other machines to get/put
files.  When I try to get a file that has been BINHEX'ed (i.e., has an
hqx extension) I alwasy get a checksum error on from BINHEX V4.0.  I
have used both binary and ASCII transfers with no joy.  Any help with 
this would be geeat.
