I am in need of some help networking 3 Macs (se, se/30, portable). Our company has made a commitment to ethernet. We would be using daynaport cards for the se and se/30, and the portable would use the asante en/sc (scsi -> ethernet adapter). All of this would connect to the VAX via Pacer software. I think the above configuration will work. Right? But, I also need to connect the Laszerwriter IInt. I do not want to have both ethernet and appletalk networks. The Daynaport EtherPrint looks like it will allow me to put the printer on the same network as the VAX. Right? Now, the real question. Can the 3 Macs utilizing the DECnet mode still print to the Etherprinter running Ethertalk? Or will one have to go between DECnet and Ethertalk modes on the Mac? any and all help will be appreciated.
