Hi, We are in the throws of migrating from Alisa software to Pathworks for Macintosh. We are pleased with the file server and print server side of things but we have two problems:- 1. What is the story with Macintosh <--> VMS mail via pathworks for:- a. Ethernet connected macintoshes, and b. localtalk/Multigate (without Decnet) connected Macintoshes? 2. Is it possible to make the tools in the toolbox supplied with Pathworks for the Terminal emulation program to work over localtalk which is linked into the ethernet world via a Multigate which does not support Decnet? We expected to be able to do this because the Alisa software allowed us to. What Mail product does the "net" recommend for use with Pathworks for Macintosh? Thanks - Wilfred Brimblecombe wilfred@uqvax.cc.uq.oz.au PC Software Support Prentice Centre The University Of Queensland Australia.

We will be releasing a version of Megan (the MultiPort Gateway's code) that supports DECnet soon. ======================== Tom Evans tom@wcc.oz.au ** ADD ".au" MANUALLY (don't trust "reply") ** Webster Computer Corp P/L, 1270 Ferntree Gully Rd Scoresby, Melbourne 3179 Victoria, Australia 61-3-764-1100 FAX ...764-1179 A.C.N. 004 818 455
